Elephone have been quick to update to the Elephone P3000S with a Mediatek MT6290 LTE model bolted on to the 1.7Ghz octacore MT6592 chipset. The fast update is either impress customers or cause despair for those already using the none LTE model.

Other than support for LTE the specifications for the phone have remained basically the same. Dimensions are 145 x 72 x 8.9mm, which is enough room for a 3150mAh battery to slot nicely inside. There is also NFC, 2GB RAM, 16GB memory and a fingerprint scanner all in the body too. On the outside the phone comes in all the usual bright colours (as seen in our review) and has a 5-inch 720p JDI display.

Elephone have confirmed the Elephone P3000S will work on WCDM, GSM and FDD-LTE networks, however they have yet to unveil the bands just yet.
