PayPal is going to release a VR glasses for customers

According to media reports, PayPal just applied for a patent on the augmented reality shopping experience last week. The patent can superimpose virtual information on physical products to enrich the shopping experience. If a shopper wears the smart glasses to see the goods on the shelf, virtual description information will pop up on the screen, including price, payment options, return warranty policy, and so on. According to Jefferies Senior Vice President and Financial Technology Analyst Ramsey El-Assal, augmented reality glasses can be used as another digital payment solution to consolidate PayPal's mobile payments status over the years. Ramsey El-Assal stated that PayPal will not introduce such smart glasses as described in the patent for a while, but once the technology matures, similar products will soon be available to users. With the integration of physical and digital commerce, this patent allows people to see the idea of PayPal.
